Neil Druckmann promoted to vice president of Bad Dog

Video game

The arrogant Neil Druckmann, who abused his character, was appointed co-president of Naughty Dog Studios. The promotion was announced on the company’s blog, as Naughty Dog president Evan Wells said: Today, during the meeting of all studios, we announced some well-deserved promotions: Neil Druckmann came to me as co-chairman of Naughty Dog after almost three years as vice president.

Drakman tweeted his response to the ad and said…

I am happy to lead with my friend and mentor, @evan_wells, the most amazing group of demons! And congratulations to @cgyrling and @yoalimo for their well-deserved and late promotions! @cgyrling and @yoalimo for their well-deserved and late promotions!

Druckmann started as a programming trainee with Jak 3. He then worked his way up to game designer Uncharted 1 and 2. When Amy Hennig left the company (the IGN has now withdrawn the complaint that she had been evicted), Druckmann played a much bigger role in the development of real estate at Naughty Dog. During his tenure as Vice President of Druckmann, he oversaw the writing, production and release of the long-awaited sequel to The Last of Us, The Last of Us Part II.

Geeks + Gamers readers can remember the internet leak from the images and videos of the second part of The Last of Us before the release date. When the YouTube channels started hiding leaked photos or frames, Naughty Dog was in a state of internal panic. They then proceeded to mitigate injury as a third party, MUSO TNT Ltd, carried out several fake DMCA strikes on different channels. Even the main channel of Youtube Geeks + Gamers was amazed, without showing movies or photos.

After weeks of silence and breaking Neil Druckmann finally showed up at the Kinda Funny Games Spoilercast a week after the release of the game. In this podcast Greg Miller asked him about the leaks. How long did it take you to get over it and not anymore, I suppose? Drachmann replied: It was one of the worst days of my life. I saw it happen in real time. I saw it happen on YouTube. We all panicked, texted and tried to get rid of them.

Neil Druckmann’s reputation as a competent VP was challenged by the recent release of the Gaming With Geeks podcast, while MarkTeCyborg described the very active development process of The Last of Us Part II, which Neil Druckmann had overseen. So many people gave up graphic modelling; they started hiring people who weren’t involved in the development of the game at all; they hired people from Hollywood. Ryan Kinel then stressed the high staff turnover between projects: 70% of sales between the end of Uncharted 4 and the release of The Last of Us II in the middle of the year. said Jeremy Griggs, head of Geeks + Gamers : This is a literal definition of failure upwards.

The last of us, part two, has inevitably won many awards in the Golden Joystick competition, including Best Story, Playstation Game of the Year and Final Game of the Year, beating games such as Ghost Tsushima and Destiny Eternal. Naughty Dog also chose the studio of the year. These prices have undoubtedly helped Druckmann to further improve its position in the company, despite the actual sales of the game. After the fall of the last of us, the second part was revealed to players who believe that it divided the fan base, Neil Druckman not take on the new position of co-chairman of Naughty Dog Studios.
