Today, Prince Harry and Prince William’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton shared this sweet interest with little brother James Middleton. “James, I think you’re going to be a big brother,” Kate said as she posed for a picture with little James. “I’m going to be an auntie soon!”
Earlier this week, the Palace of Hove in England announced that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant with her second child. And, she revealed that the baby’s father, Prince William, is the father. The baby boy’s name as well, is expected to be announced soon.
Middleton and her brother James are two of the most famous people in the world (so far), and they are also some of the most photographed. But Middleton has chosen to share her interest in taking pictures with her younger brother with the rest of us. On a trip to the family home of her late mother, she posted a photo on Instagram of James holding a camera, and captioned it: “This #familymood is my favorite.”. The royal mother of three visited the Natural History Museum in London – and we know how much she loves visiting museums to learn about her Urban Nature project – and brought a homemade treat for the schoolchildren she met.
Coincidentally, the Duchess’ visit coincided with the special interest of her younger brother James, with whom she has a close relationship. Coincidence?
Kate Middleton admitted to having a personalbeehive
Kate Middleton visited the Natural History Museum in London on Tuesday to learn about the Urban Nature project. A caring mother, she brought a special treat for the children at the local school: homemade honey from Anmer Hall, a home in Norfolk where she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.
Want to try it? It specifically comes from my hive, Duchess Kate told the children, according to those present at the time. Does it taste like store-bought honey? Does it taste like flowers?
The children enjoyed licking the delicious honey.
Later, Kate sat down on the floor with her legs crossed and joined the school children who were crafting with spiders. During their day at the museum, they attached an acoustic monitoring device to a cherry tree in the Wildlife Garden. The recorder will record environmental sounds and help scientists study the activity patterns of birds, mammals and insects in the garden.
James Middleton shares his love of beekeeping
James, 34, opened up to his fans in 2019 about his love of keeping bees.
Many of you know that I have a passion for dogs, he wrote on Instagram at the time, referring to the many adorable photos of his dogs that he bombards his followers with. But few know that I am almost as passionate about bees.
I’m fascinated by these little creatures. From her writhing dance to the queen laying eggs daily with her own body weight….. There’s a lot to be said for these humble little creatures, he says.
Like his dogs, keeping bees helps him relax and clear his head. Beekeeping is a meditation for me. It’s a chance to take your mind off things and get so engrossed in something that the hours can go by unnoticed. Meditation is a great tool to combat stress, anxiety and depression, and you don’t have to do it sitting down alone!
James explained to his fans the importance of honey to the body, calling it one of nature’s best medicines. Antibacterial properties, aid in digestion, hay fever, colds, energy, and even a cure for insomnia – the list goes on and on. I drink a teaspoon of honey every day and I can only recommend it.

James Middleton thanks his family for making his beekeeping dream come true
Last year, James revealed that his wonderful hobby was started by his family members.
I always dreamed of keeping bees, but it wasn’t until I was 24, in 2011, that that wish became a reality, he wrote in an article for the Daily Mail in 2020.
‘Then my family – mum, dad and my sisters Catherine and Pippa – got together to buy me the most amazing birthday present ever,’ he continued. A van arrived with a large, buzzing box with a warning sign on it: Live bees. It contained the core – the beginning – of my bee colony: 1,000 Buckfast bees.
James also remembers being pleased with his gift, although he said the courier did not share his joy and personally forced him to climb into a fan to retrieve the box.

I wanted to go riding with him today, so I asked him this morning. I knew he would say, ‘No, you’re too young.’ So it was really nice to be proved wrong.”.
